TRAVEL: Chalcatzingo (Daily)
(Daily 8:00 AM) Chalcatzingo is an important archaeological site that began to develop 3,500 years ago thanks to the Olmecs who settled there. Agriculture based on terraces and hydraulic systems was the basis of its flourishing. From 1000 to 100 B.C. it was a very important political and religious center.

There is a place where the weather is always pleasant and enjoyable all year round: Cuernavaca, the city of eternal spring. If time could stop in one place, it would be Taxco. This has been an important silver mining center since pre-Hispanic times, a very charming and welcoming place with its stunning 18th-century Santa Prisca Church.

The site was occupied from the end of the Classic period, although its heyday occurred in the Postclassic period. According to sources, the city of Tenayuca was founded by the Chichimecas of Xólotl - named after the leader who guided them to the basin of Mexico - around 1224 A.D.

The largest and most important collection of works from the viceregal period is on display at the 17th century Jesuit College in Tepozotlan, a small town worth visiting.
TRAVEL: Tepoztlan (Daily)
A small valley surrounded by high mountains and large, whimsically shaped rocks that create a very special landscape. Among these rocks is the famous Tepozteco, a rock that rises almost 400 meters above the town, on top of which is a small pyramid dedicated to Ometochtli-Tepoztécatl, one of the gods of pulque among the Mexica.
